The 10th edition of the Market for African Performing Arts (MASA) will be held in Côte d’Ivoire, from March 10 to 17, 2018 in five major cities of Côte d’Ivoire that are Abidjan, Bouaké, Yamoussoukro, Grand-Bassam and Korhogo.
The National Orchestra of Senegal will not be told the 25th anniversary of the MASA. The strong Senegalese community in Ivory Coast and Ivorian lovers of the musical excellence of Senegal will be served. The National Orchestra of Senegal is a department attached to the Ministry of Culture, which is responsible for searching the cultural heritage of the country to promote and popularize Senegalese music. It also contributes to cultural cooperation between Senegal and other countries.
Another major novelty for this edition is the opening of the MASA 2018 to the Diasporas, It is the Africans of Brazil, African-Americans, Afro-Cubans.
