MASA 2020: International Artistic Committee, portrait of Frédéric Jacquemin, Belgium

Before taking up his position as Director of Africalia, Frédéric Jacquemin was Expert in Cultural Policies at the Secretariat of the Africa-Caribbean-Pacific Group of States. In this context, he coordinated the ACP Cultural Observatory where he conducted studies on the creative industries and cultural policies of the ACP countries from 2009 to 2012. He is a member of the MASA International Artistic Committee since 2016.
He has designed development actions and courses in cultural business management in sub-Saharan Africa on behalf of the Hicter Foundation and organizations such as the Belgian Technical Cooperation, the Observatory of Cultural Policies in Africa, the International Organization Francophonie.
Frédéric Jacquemin holds a M.A. in History of Art and Archeology from the Catholic University of Louvain and a M.A. in Business Administration from the E. Solvay-Université Libre Institute of Brussels.
