Monday, September 23rd, the International Artistic Committee (CAI) of the MASA was in the spotlight.
In the presence of the Ambassador of Canada to Côte d’Ivoire, Her Excellency Julie Schouldice, Professor Yacouba Konaté, Director General of MASA, welcomed the 26 CAI experts.He introduced them to the big attractions planned for MASA 2020: Abidjan Dance Parade; Street Arts Zone; scenic readings and slam; the MASA for schools; the ecology-young public day ; the Prestigious evenings dedicated to Canada, the guest of honor of this 11th MASA, and Marie-Rose Guiraud, to who tribute will be paid; the MASA Jazz Festival; fashion shows; theatrical productions; master class; the professional meetings and the traveling exhibition « Lend me your dream ».

Finally, the Director General of MASA wished « good work » to the CAI in charge of selecting the groups for the MASA 2020. The challenge was therefore to choose about 64 groups from 64 countries among the 780 applications distributed as follows: 372 in music, 175 in dance, 105 in theater, 44 in standup comedy, 42 in storytelling, 22 in circus arts and puppetry and 20 in slam.
