Another step in the preparations for the 10th edition of the MASA was taken on Wednesday, January 24, 2018.  Early in the afternoon, the MASA Managing Director Prof. Yacouba Konaté, accompanied by a technical team, visited two of the sites to host the MASA 2018 festivities.

The first site to be inspected was the Pailais de la  Culture, located inTreichville. On site the visitors of the day have identified the venues where the different actors of the next MASA will be. Then were also visited the large open official stage located at L’Espace L’Oiseau-livre, the Village of MASA housing the approved restaurants, the small stage facing the Village (where all the unscheduled artists who wish to be promoted have the possibility, without programming to come to perform at any time), the Press Room, the fashion show space, etc. .

The journey continued with the National Institute of Youth and Sports (INJS) located in Marcory, to visit the facilities of the recent Games of La Francophonie (which were held from July 22 to 31, 2017 in Abidjan) . In this vast space where the artists will be housed, Professor Konaté and his collaborators have been particularly interested in the apartment .

Two R + 2 buildings, one of 52 rooms and the other of 64 single and double rooms. Which arrangements were deemed correct by the hosts.

In the coming days, other visits are scheduled to validate all the facilities selected to host the different events of the next MASA which, it will be remembered, will be coupled with the celebration of the 25th anniversary of this great meeting of the African performing arts.
