Afrique Créative is an ambitious support program designed to accelerate the development of cultural and creative enterprises (CCIs) that create jobs, generate growth and bring about change.
The 2023 call for applications is open until November 15, 2023 (inclusive) and will enable 30 entrepreneurs from 12 target countries (Benin, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ghana, Guinea Conakry, Kenya, Morocco, Senegal, South Africa, Tunisia and Uganda) to enter a pre-incubation phase.
The 30 entrepreneurs selected will be supported by a local incubator partner for 3 months, and will have the opportunity to pitch their acceleration projects to a panel of judges. This jury, made up of cultural and institutional players and investors, will select the 15 best projects for the rest of the program (technical support and financial backing), which will begin in June 2024.
All information on the call for applications and the support program is available on the website and on social networks (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
Afrique Créative is financed by the « Agence Française de Développement » (AFD) and implemented by Africalia, I&P Conseil, Bayimba Foundation, Zhu Culture and Tshimologong.
