BRIEF REMINDER OF THE CONTEXT

MASA (Market for African Performing Arts of Abidjan) is an international organization aimed at structuring the live performance sector in Côte d’Ivoire and Africa. It organizes various activities, including a biennale. MASA develops a multidisciplinary program that highlights Ivorian and African artists. It is both an institution and a physical space for exchange and meetings, as well as a key player in cultural development in Côte d’Ivoire.

OBJECTIVE OF THE MISSION

MASA’s management is seeking a partner for the operation of a restaurant/café space at the MASA headquarters, located in Plateau, Toussaint Louverture Street: an establishment serving drinks and meals. The space includes the following areas: the offices, a hut (40 m²), a garden (1000 m²), and a kitchen (15 m²). MASA welcomes various types of audiences:

•⁠ ⁠Daytime audiences: artists, cultural and economic operators, attendees of conferences, training sessions, and other activities.

•⁠ ⁠Nighttime audiences: attendees of cultural events organized by the institution.

The offer must be financially accessible to a broad audience, ranging from young people to middle-class professionals and executives (prices between CFA 1500 and CFA 10,000 maximum for meals).

OPERATING HOURS AND PERIODS

This space must be open from Monday to Saturday, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, excluding special events. On event nights, the restaurant should remain open continuously from the morning until 30 minutes after the event ends, at the latest 11:00 PM (except for special cases with partner events that include cocktail receptions).
