Abidjan Danse Parade is a parade for the opening of the MASA 2020 under the theme Africa-World. It will be held on March 7, 2020 followed by a public concert with music stqrs leaders. The choreographers of this ceremony met for 3 days in Bingerville in order to offer an unforgettable spectacle to the public.
Twenty choreographers associated for the organization of the parade called Abidjan Danse Parade met from September 6 to 8, 2019, in Bingerville to discuss the topics related to this great ceremony, under the direction of Massidi Adiatou and Baba Toure. During 3 days of fruitful sharing, the participants debated the relevant issues: the scenography of the parade, the urban ambulatory creations and innovations, the synopsis of the parade, the costumes and the painting, the logistics, the dance and choreography, music and songs, creations and communication strategy.
During this seminar, Mr. Patrice Papelard, Director of Ateliers Frappaz, a National Center for Street Arts in Public Spaces, Director of ‘Invites de Villeurbanne‘, a MASA partner shared his experience of street arts, he has more than 20 years of practice.
