The opening ceremony of the 5th edition of this fair of Music of Africa and the Middle East « Visa For Music » took place this Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at the National Theater Mohammed V in Rabat. Until Saturday, November 24th, this great event which is a crossroad where the styles merge between electric guitar and oud violin and kora will welcome nearly 50 concerts of artists from all over the world. Visa For Music is now an essential meeting place for music professionals and the main springboard for artists from the region.

For this edition, some thirty artists or groups have been selected to show their creations to  professionals, among them are: Petit Kandia (Guinea Conakry), Lornoar (Cameroon) and Ifrikya Spirit (Algeria), respectively from the official selection of the MASA 2014 and the 2018 Festival.

A MASA delegation led by Professor Yacouba Konaté, the Director General is also present. The delegation will have a booth and will conduct speed-meetings.
